Wings over Uganda

Gorillas and Game – Five Day Fly-in Luxury Safari

Our popular fly-safari, WINGS OVER UGANDA   is a fabulous safari – specially designed for those who are short of time, but want to see two of Uganda’s foremost game, bird and primate  viewing areas.

This safari includes flights over the beautiful highlands of Uganda boasting incredible scenery. There is a drive from the airstrip via local villages to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest – from where you will be able enjoy a thrilling visit with the Mountain Gorillas.  After a couple of nights here, with plenty of time to explore and the possibility of a second trek, you drive to the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National park to enjoy multiple game drives in a park boasting a large range of wildlife - large herds of elephant, buffalo, Uganda kob, plus numerous predators including the famous tree climbing lions.  Uganda boasts some of the best bird watching in Africa, with over 1000 different species, including the rare shoebill stork and the remarkable grey crowned crane.  Luxury accommodation, professional guides and custom made safari vehicles – this safari will be the trip of a lifetime.  Please note - two gorilla tracking options are available with this itinerary based on availability. Please make your request at the time of booking.

This safari is available on any day. Itinerary may change based on permit and accommodation availability.
