About: California Scuba Center
California Scuba Center was opened in September 2019 by Mike and Sherrie Fitzgerald with the purpose of supporting local divers and giving them every opportunity to be in the water. Their goal is to have a shop that divers and non-divers alike were comfortable to go to, even just to hang out. They believe diving is more than just a sport or hobby, it is truly an adventure.
Mike is a NAUI Instructor and NAUI First Aid Instructor Trainer with over 20 years of diving experience. After years of saying she would never be a diver, Sherrie finally gave in and loves it. They offer monthly pool sessions for practice, equipment demos, social connections, a monthly free movie night, and more. Complete with the Diver’s Den social area and free coffee, water, soda, and snacks, you don’t have to go to shop, you can just stop in to say hi and relax as well.
