You will find this beachfront low-rise resort hotel is tucked away in its own secluded bay amongst 46 acres of lush tropical grounds, with a total of 38 rooms, including 3 bungalows and 4 apartments.
Rooms include 3 Bungalows with 1 or 2 bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room, and a large porch, 4 self catering apartments with either 1 or 2 bedrooms, and 31 standard hotel rooms.
All rooms face the ocean and have a private shower, toilet, air conditioning, ceiling fans and a balcony or porch and have been recently re-decorated.
RECREATION ROOM/TV ROOM/CONFERENCE ROOM:
This area is used as a recreation room with Satellite Television, Table Tennis, internet (available at a minimum charge) and a full library with numerous volumes in different languages. This room is fully air-conditioned and also doubles as a Mini Conference facility, from and offers a full range of Audio Visual equipment, and can cater to approximately 30 persons.
The in-house gift shop, "Treasure Chest", has a wide variety of clothing, local crafts, and souvenir Items.
"The Fish Pot Restaurant" specializes in both Caribbean and International cuisine with a local flair and offers different Meal Plans for your stay.
"The Shipwreck Bar" offers a wide variety of Exotic Caribbean and International cocktails. There is also a menu serving sandwiches, lunch and light snacks.
The hotel’s bay is known as Batteaux Bay (Boat Bay) - a private, sheltered horseshoe shaped bay with a golden sandy beach approximately 1000 feet long. The swimming is safe here year-round and there is fantastic snorkeling right off of the beach.
The in-house dive operator, Aquamarine Dive is at present the only P.A.D.I. International Gold Palm Resort and Training Facility on the Island and the only dive facility on Tobago that utilizes their own 180 foot private dock for divers to easily board their dive boats. The facility also offers kayaking, glass bottom boat tours.
For those who are looking for a relaxing game “top-side”, the resort has a lighted "Activities Court" for tennis and basketball, and also offers yoga classes on Monday mornings at our Mot Mot Deck for a minimal charge. There is also Starwood Trace nearby for jogging, bird watching, walking, etc. Golf, Squash, and Horseback Riding are also available on Tobago.
A nature lovers paradise with 46 acres of lush tropical grounds, Blue Waters Inn is directly across from Little Tobago (Bird of Paradise Island), Tobago's largest bird sanctuary, which is just a ten minute boat ride away. St. Giles island, which is the southern Caribbean's largest seabird colony, is approximately 30 minutes by boat (the ride is a rough one and should only be attempted if you are comfortable in rough seas). Tobago's lush main ridge forest is approximately 30 minutes by car.
