Before Red Mangrove Galapagos & Ecuador Lodges, the only way to see multiple islands in the Galapagos without a cruise was approaching impossible to organize from afar and certainly questionable in terms of what to expect once you departed Santa Cruz, the main island in the Galapagos. That, too, has evolved in the Galapagos.

 

Because Red Mangrove has multiple lodges on multiple islands, we are able to offer you the epitome of land-based programs with more activities and more flexibility and a huge combination of diving and eco-tour options. These can be tailored to suit ranging from as little as three day itineraries which serve as a perfect add-on to a liveaboard to two weeks or more on one island on encompassing all of them and the mainland.



Red Mangrove Aventura Lodge - Santa Cruz Island

Aventura LodgeSanta Cruz Island is the most important of the inhabited islands of the Galapagos. Puerto Ayora, the largest town, has 15.000 people living and working here, mostly in the tourism industry.

 

Built in 1995, this lodge has a unique architecture design which blends with mangrove forest and seafront, its location allows you to observe the mangrove ecosystem in action as well as the best view of Puerto Ayora's bay. The lodge owners are committed to running an ecofriendly operation and the lodge is going through a process of certification for sustainable management.

 

14 guest rooms divided in 2 areas, either seaside or inside the mangrove are all equipped with a/c, cable TV, private bathroom and hot water. The Seaside restaurant with choices of Japanese or Galapagos fusion cuisine offers you the best choice in town.

Red Mangrove Santa Cruz Divers Lodge - Santa Cruz Island

Santa Cruz Divers Lodge1998 saw the beginning of a dream for the Red Mangrove company - this project, constructed rock by rock, was finished in 2009, and opened as a hotel in 2010. Its design is known as "Galapagoenian", because its walls and floors were carved the local lava rock land, and tiles from recycled ceramic artwork. A puzzle, created piece by beautiful piece with designs of sharks, rays, dolphins and other sea creatures surrounds a garden and jacuzzi, ready to indulge you. Every corner reflects the love and affection of the Galapagos style.

 

Located in a quiet area, a few blocks from the Pelikan bay fishing market, souvenir stores, galleries, jewelries and more can be conveniently reached from this hotel.

 

The boutique hotel has just 9 rooms; several of them stand out from volcanic rock details of the islands.

 

The cafeteria provides a delicious full cooked breakfast each morning. While Lunch and dinner are not offered on the property, they can be provided at the nearby Red Mangrove Aventura Lodge

Red Mangrove Isabela Lodge - Isabela Island

Isabela LodgeIsabela is the largest of the Galapagos islands. Formed by six large volcanic domes fused together, this is one of the most volcanically active places on earth. Even though the island is the largest of the archipelago, its town, Puerto Villamil has only 2000 inhabitants, most of them fishermen.

 

Separated from the ocean only by a broad, white sand, palm-lined beach, our oceanfront Lodge has a beautiful wooden deck by the sea for all to enjoy as well as a roof top terrace with sea vistas for miles. All guest rooms have 2 queen beds and a private bath and 3 guest rooms have amazing sea views.

Red Mangrove Isabela Divers Lodge - Isabela Island

Isabela Divers LodgeThis property, located in front of the sea, was built in 2005 with a linear design. Large windows allow plenty of light to spill into every room. Spectacular views of Isabela can be enjoyed from the beach which is surrounded by palm trees and white sand.

 

Located 20 steps away from the Red Mangrove Isabela lodge, you are located close to all of the amenities in town. This small hotel offers a truly personal experience, having just 5 rooms. Breakfast, lunch and dinner service are served in Red Mangrove’s "Coco restaurant" next to the hotel.

Red Mangrove Floreana Lodge - Floreana Island

Floreana LodgeFloreana island is the least populated of Galapagos Islands, with most its 150 population living in the town, Puerto Velasco Ibarra. It is well known for its historical background related to the Baroness and her disparities in the 1930`s with her lovers.

 

Located in Puerto Velasco Ibarra, the Red Mangrove Lava Lodge is built entirely in pine wood from the mainland man made forests, this lodge is placed in front of the ocean on black lava surface. 10 independent small cabins equipped each with 1 twin size bed and a bunk bed can host up to 3 people each. Each cabin has its own bathroom, front porch, reading and shade area to allow you privacy and enjoyment of the outdoors as you observe the sea.

 

This intimate resort also offers a common area where you enjoy a welcome drink, with beautiful sunset for relax in company of other guests. The location of the hotel is 5 minutes away from the main part of town and 3 minutes walking to the "loberia" to observe the sea lions in its natural environment.
