Atlantis Dive Resort Dumaguete operates as an all-inclusive, dedicated dive resort.
The onsite restaurant offers an array of breakfast choices, and lunch and dinner are three-course chef-prepared meals with a menu that changes every day. Atlantis caters to all dietary needs. the food and beverage service also includes snacks in between dives and coffee and tea throughout the day.
Being a dedicated dive resort, Atlantis offers unlimited diving with up to 5 scheduled boat dives a day (four-day dives and a night dive)! All dives are guided boat dives, normally on speedboats (but sometimes on Bankah boats), about 2-10 minutes travel time from the resort, returning to the resort in between dives. All dive guides are locals, and home grown, with an excellent eye to show divers all the small wonders of the Philippines.
Operating the same as Atlantis Puerto Galera with all-inclusive dive vacations, excellent food, and exceptional service, Atlantis Dumaguete is a beachfront tropical resort surrounded by green lush gardens.
Atlantis Dumaguete offers divers a great opportunity to see unique macro marine life while critter diving on the coastal sites, the healthy reefs around Apo Island with over 400 documented species of corals (that’s 65% of the world’s corals!), diving the vibrant walls of Siquijor, and snorkeling with whale sharks in Oslob!
Dauin, where our resort is located, is the macro capital of the Philippines. With black volcanic sand, we have about 25 dive spots 2-10 minutes away by boat from the resort. The diving is mainly on sandy slopes, with some hard coral patches and artificial reef structures (from cars to concrete blocks and even a toilet!), very relaxed diving, spending lots of time at each dive spot, searching for small, magnificent critters. It is the frogfish capital of the Philippines, we have 7 different species here, along with the Blue-Ring Octopus, Matoti, Mimic and Coconut Octopus, Cuttlefish, Star-Gazers, Jawfish, various eels, pipefish, and more!
Atlantis Dumaguete also features a Coral Nursery that was set up in September 2022, in an effort to extend the coral reefs in the Dauin area.
Guests diving with Atlantis can opt to be part of coral reef restoration in the Philippines by dedicating 30 minutes during their stay to clean and maintain the coral fragments and trees!

The Atlantis Restaurant, which is right on the beach, provides guests with a unique dining experience. The restaurant uses fresh local products and flavors but is made to an international standard. There are daily changing blackboard lunch and dinner menus, theme nights with buffets, as well as lunchtime Mongolian Wok. Yummy!
Alternatively, just sit down at Toko’s spacious bar for a cappuccino or a cocktail between meals. A centrally located swimming pool, that blends in with the surrounding gardens. This provides a natural setting within the tropical ambiance. In-water lounging areas allow guests to sit and relax while listening to the soothing sounds of the pool’s waterfall. The crystal clear water is chlorine-free and constantly filtered and treated by the same system that is used to purify the drinking water.
Nature is very important at Atlantis and the garden is a definite highlight of the resort. It was planned with continual growth in mind and it is therefore constantly changing. Many rare and indigenous species of plants, trees, lotus, fish ponds, and exotic birds can be found, whilst strolling through the resort. It is meticulously maintained by full-time gardeners and constantly overseen by the owners. If you love nature, you’ll love the resort.
Atlantis Dumaguete recently opened the new Spa. Very pleasing to the eye, the spa’s facilities include an authentic sauna imported from Finland, a Jacuzzi, a wet room for body scrubs, a “Rain Dance Shower Room”, an outdoor annex relaxation area, and a spacious massage room. There are also facilities for hand and foot spas available to guests.
Conveniently situated next to the front desk, is a retail shop that has all you need plus a few surprises. For the dive enthusiast, equipment and accessories – how about an ear warmer? It also stocks practical items such as sunscreen, t-shirts, swimwear, sarongs, caps, and beautiful silver dive jewelry. But the most popular is probably the beautiful native art, such as bowls, vases, picture frames and much more made out of coconut wood. There’s also lots of fun stuff for kids as well as travel books, fish books, and postcards.
If you can’t leave home without connecting to the Internet, Atlantis is equipped with a high-speed satellite connection, either LAN or Wi-Fi. The resort also provides Internet computer rental for those traveling light. Should you need a special connection, such as dial-up, the front desk is more than willing to assist you.
Atlantis Dumaguete also boasts a fully air-conditioned conference room that comfortably caters to up to 50 people. It is equipped with an internet connection and a computer-compatible projection system.
For experienced and novice divers alike, the resort boasts an SSI facility. Whether you use the dive shop as your base from which to explore thirty or more close dive sites, the place to start your adventures and become certified, your introduction to Nitrox, technical diving, rebreather adventures, or as the place to start a career in diving, the Atlantis Resort Dumaguete has it all!
